John,
Is it just us, or is it a little hot in here? (Spoiler alert: we know it’s not just us.)
We told you last month that June 2023 had the hottest day ever on record, but that we could expect that record to be broken. Well, it was — 17 times in the month of July, to be exact.

A study from the World Weather Attribution (WWA) showed that these record temperatures can only be attributed to human-driven global warming and climate change. Even further, the authors of the study said that this summer could be considered a “cool summer” with what could happen in coming years.
We don’t think global warming is cool at all, John. Every day that passes is another day closer to the day that we won’t be able to fight back against climate change anymore. We cannot allow devastating storms, record-breaking heat, and increased flooding to be normalized. We must find solutions and fight back. Will you support SEEC Members’ efforts to combat climate change in Congress?
