I Make America's July Recap (Week of Action Winners Listed Below!)
I Make America was busy visiting member facilities across America! We headed to Nebraska and hosted I Make America educational events at both Graepel and Swanson Russel and held a member service meeting with Lindsay. In Illinois, we visited ChemGrout, who hosted a number of local member companies for a conversation on AEM services, including advocacy. Lastly, we came back to our home state of Wisconsin for a Dealer Demo Day at Manitou Group! We were able to speak with I Make America supporters and explore new ways to engage I Make America at the facility. Read more HERE.

FACILITY VISITS: On July 18th, BOMAG Americas, in partnership with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), welcomed South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster to their North American headquarters. Governor McMaster was on site to launch CONNEX, a manufacturing supply chain solution. 98% of equipment manufacturers are still experiencing supply chain issues. Read more HERE.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT WINS: Wisconsin I Make America supporters called on their legislators to increase the Wisconsin state research & development tax credit - and together, we got the job done! The Wisconsin R&D tax credit was increased from 15% to 25%! Thank you to our Wisconsin I Make America supporters for mobilizing to make it happen.
COMMUNICATOR AWARDS: I Make America won three Communicator Awards for our 90-second "Faces of Manufacturing" video, featuring supporters from various member companies! These awards show that when our industry comes together to tell story of equipment manufacturing in America, people listen! Watch the video HERE.
[?] JULY WEEK OF ACTION A SUCCESS: Today marks the end of our 2023 July Week of Action. This year, the I Make America community pulled together and completed hundreds of actions! Supporters sent letters to their legislators in support of the PAL Act and PRECISE Act, shared their industry stories, and learned more about our impact on rural America. Thank you to all who took action and were entered for a chance to win!
