China's Ministry of Public Security operates beyond traditional espionage as part of its political warfare strategy. Recent reports indicate that Chinese law enforcement elements have established over 50 overseas police centers in 21 countries on five continents.

Russia entered the war in Ukraine with a frontline force of around 2,927 battle tanks. By February 2023, Russia had lost at least 1,900—around two-thirds of its original total. This means at a minimum Russia has been losing an average of about 150 tanks per month.

Starting in 2019, a Hezbollah proxy infiltrated around 250 servers in the United States, Great Britain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, and Palestine. The group stole data from Egyptian data companies, Saudi internet providers, and U.S.-based companies and public offices.
