Hi John, circling back on Kendra's email:

The White House's new budget threatens to dramatically cut education funding - including STEM education resources from NASA and Pell Grants - and we won't stand for it!

The American people deserve adequately funded education programs. Add your name to our petition now if you agree →

Begin forwarded message:

Last week, the White House released its 2020 budget, and it's clear that standing up for students is not on their list of priorities.

The 2020 budget proposes billions of dollars in cuts to Pell Grants that support low-income students, as well as eliminating the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.

As student debt skyrockets nationally, we need to take a stand against cuts to the critical programs that provide some relief to the crisis.

The 2020 budget proposal would also cut all funding to NASA's education efforts. At a time when we need more investment in STEM education, not less, this is particularly disappointing to see.

Investing in future generations is truly important to me - that's why I'm fighting for Oklahoma students every day in Congress.
