John, From the time I announced my campaign, I've experienced bullying and intimidation from the establishment. I've had the machine tell me my career is over, I've had my opponent's staff call my donors and reporters who dared to cover me, and I've been called a 'disgusting liar' for calling out Rep. Just this week a candidate running for Assembly in the democratic primary announced he's dropping out of the race because demoralizing electoral politics is affecting his mental health. The political process is broken. Primaries are good for democracy. Progress requires change, but change will not come if new voices are stifled.
