We’re not going to stand by and watch while Washington Republicans attack people who deserve these benefits -- those with disabilities, Iowans who have paid into this system for their entire life, and children who would go hungry otherwise.

Here’s our district by the numbers:

  • 24% of children in our district are covered by the Childhood Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
  • More than 12,000 require disability support
  • 9% of adults rely on Medicaid
  • Over 120,000 earned Social Security benefits
