Nominations are Open for the
2020 American Courage Awards!

Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC is launching the call for nominations for our signature event, the American Courage Awards. Our 2020 American Courage Awards presentation will showcase the individuals and organizations who have shown extraordinary commitment to civil rights. With your help, we hope to gather a diverse group of deserving nominees from which we will choose the final honorees.

All nominations are due by Wednesday, March 18, 2020. The description of the award categories are below:
 
The American Courage Award goes to an individual, company, or organization that has shown extraordinary courage or commitment to the cause of civil rights. This may include a corporate leader who has taken an important stand, an activist who overcame extraordinary challenges, an artist with a unique vision, or a journalist breaking an important story.

The Changemaker Award honors an individual, company, or organization who is a catalyst for change. This may include an entrepreneur, student or activist whose leadership has inspired action that has led to change on a local or national level that benefits Asian American communities.

NOMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
 
To nominate an individual or organization for an award, please complete our 2020 American Courage Award and Changemaker Award online nomination form.

Thank you for your nomination. We appreciate your time and effort in helping us identify nominees fighting to advocate for civil and human rights for the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities and beyond! Advancing Justice | AAJC will collect all nominations submitted by Wednesday, March 18, 2020, and will announce the awardees shortly thereafter.

Honorees will receive their awards at our 2020 American Courage Awards celebration the evening of Thursday, October 1, 2020, in Washington, DC. Please contact [email protected] should you have any questions.
