Look: I’m not the type to tell you that “the sky is falling!” and an online donation is the only thing to save us.

However, I can’t honestly tell you that everything at Casten HQ is going as we’d hoped. Our team just crunched the numbers, and we’re raising less than half as much as we were at this time in 2021, the last election off-year.

I get it. Back in 2021, the orange-hued tyrant’s attempt to overthrow American democracy was more than enough to keep folks committed to the fight against MAGA extremism.

Things seem less chaotic than they were back then, but the truth is, the far right is just as – if not more – fanatical about their dangerous agenda as they were two years ago. Their crusade against LGBTQ+ equality, reproductive rights, democracy, and basic decency is all the proof we need.

If we let the GOP build up their fundraising advantage now, we’ll be in for a real “sky-is-falling”-level disaster in the not-so-distant future, team.

We need a resurgence of grassroots energy right now, because far-right extremists are already training for the next fight. So, I’m making this request: Will you pitch in $25 to make sure that Democrats come out on top next November?
