Dear Friend,
I'd like to thank you for being part of our Alzheimer's Association community.
Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. And we're making progress — this is an exciting time in which more promising treatments and potential therapies for early Alzheimer's disease are emerging from research.
A pipeline of potential new treatments offers hope for the Alzheimer's and dementia community. There are currently two Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved treatments that target one of the underlying causes of Alzheimer's and can slow the progression of the disease for some people living with early Alzheimer's.
This news is potentially life-changing for some people living with early Alzheimer's but we want to continue pushing this vital work forward until everyone living with this disease — at any stage — can get the treatment, care and support they need. That's why I'm reaching out to you today.
Our $600,000 Matching Gift Challenge is just getting started, and we need your help to make the most of this amazing opportunity. By making your first gift now, you can double your impact and bolster our ongoing push for a cure to this devastating disease while providing care and support to those who need it today.
We're fortunate to have the support of Dick and Marianne Kipper, two generous members of our Zenith Society who have pledged to match every donation we receive between now and September 30 — up to a total of $600,000 — if we can raise the same amount by the deadline.
Their gift will help fund critical Alzheimer's disease research, while your donation can be matched to provide care and support and accelerate research.
Will you help us reach our goal, friend?
The stakes couldn't be higher. Alzheimer's is a national health crisis, and millions of Americans are losing their loved ones to this heartbreaking disease. This thief of a disease not only robs individuals of memory and cognitive function — it also rips away family connections, depletes caregiver's resources and steals years from people's lives.
Our goal is simple: drive breakthrough research and make sure everyone has access to early detection and accurate diagnosis, treatments and care and support.
Your first gift today can help break down needless barriers to treatment — whether those be cost, coverage, logistics or lack of knowledge — and get people the care and support they need while advancing the research that can lead to more breakthroughs.
Care, support, research and advocacy — you can achieve 2X the impact with one gift. |

Friend, the strong interest you've shown in this fight tells me you want to make a difference, and this match challenge is an incredible example of how YOU can push for the cure. That's why now is the perfect time to make your first gift and help us in our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Every donation moves us closer to our dream of a world where our loved ones can be free of this terrible disease. Right now, you can make your first gift go even further with 2X the impact.
You'll help:
- Expand access to quality care for those who require it and broaden overall support to those living with the disease.
- Increase our investment in research to accelerate risk reduction and more effective treatment for Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
- Secure significant advances in our state and federal policy priorities to improve the lives of those with dementia, as well as their caregivers.
Friend, I'm so grateful for the advances we've made together. I'm hopeful for the many Americans living with early Alzheimer's who may soon have access to new FDA-approved treatments. But millions more are still waiting, and we must act now.
This exciting $600,000 Matching Gift Challenge is only available for a limited time. Please give your first gift today to make a significant difference for those living with Alzheimer's.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
