Dear Friend,
For those of you who are Democrats or Democrat-leaning, my message is this...
Democrats will not win in 2024 by telling the electorate things are going well. Why? Because for 70 percent of Americans, they are not!
It’s not that Bidenomics isn’t a solid effort. But at a moment like this, Bidenomics offers way too little. It does not adequately respond to the deeper challenges of our time.
Yes it’s true, the Inflation Reduction Act offers healthy investments in green energy. But with the Willow Project and thousands of oil drilling permits — more even than Trump! — the effects of those investments are nullified.
Yes it’s true, the president raised the minimum wage for federal workers to $15/hr. But when it came to adding that raise to the Covid Relief Bill, the idea was halted by the non-binding power of the Senate Parliamentarian.
Yes it’s true, Democrats cut child poverty in half with the Child Tax Credit. But when it expired six months later, congress didn’t permanentize it.
Yes it’s true, Obamacare has been expanded. But without universal healthcare, one in four Americans still live with medical debt, over a million people ration their insulin, and 68,000 Americans die every year from lack of healthcare.
In fact, the majority of Americans still live with chronic economic stress. I’m not concerned about people voting for Trump next year; with facts like those above, I’m more worried about all the people who might stay home.
My campaign is about defeating Trump, or whomever the Republicans nominate in 2024. And the President’s agenda is a weak one, while ours is very strong.

We will win in 2024 by offering the vision of a society that works : universal health care, cancellation of the college debt, tuition free college and tech school, paid family leave, guaranteed housing and sick pay and a livable wage. It’s a policy plan for what America will be when corporate corruption no longer rules. Those who think The Marianne Plan “asks for too much" are suggesting that the role of government should not in fact be "to secure the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." My plan does. That's why we're gaining momentum. And why we're going to win.
This is a marathon, and every dollar helps.
