Dear NRDC Action Fund Activist,

There is no challenge we face more dire than climate change — and no
opportunity more consequential than the 2020 elections.

We have the chance to defeat President Trump, oust Big Oil's allies in the
Senate, maintain the pro-environment majority in the House of
Representatives, and set the stage for the bold action we need to confront
the climate crisis.

But if we're going to win, we have to get to work right now. First and
foremost, make sure that you're ready to vote for action on climate
change, and then you need to vote. Voting is our fundamental right and our
responsibility.

[ [link removed] ]Make sure you're registered to vote using the NRDC Action Fund's easy
tool, then forward this email to three people and ask them to confirm
their registrations, too.

No matter which candidate you support for president, it's vital that we
turn out as many pro-climate voters as possible in both the primaries and
the general election. Here's why: we need to show every candidate, up and
down the ballot, that climate advocates vote — and that if they want to
win, they must commit to taking bold action on climate change once they're
in office.

If you know you're already registered, that's great! You can still have a
big impact right now by checking in on your friends, family, and anyone
else in your life who might need an extra nudge to register or get to the
polls.

Maybe it's your next-door neighbor who just moved in, or your relative who
always says they're going to vote but never gets around to doing it. Maybe
you know someone turning 18 and is able to vote for the first time!
Ensuring that all these people are registered to vote can make or break
these elections.

Democracy is not a spectator sport. Winning in 2020 will require a huge
grassroots mobilization — and we can't do it without
you.
