FIRST: In 2020, our communities were bombarded with waves of right-wing disinformation designed to mislead voters of color and dissuade them from turning out to cast a ballot.
THEN: New technological developments made it possible to spread more sophisticated disinformation than ever before, leading experts to predict that the problem will only grow worse in 2024.
NOW: We need to ramp up our efforts to combat this cynical strategy by reaching young Latino voters in key swing states, registering them to vote, and mobilizing them in November.
The best way to inoculate our communities against rampant disinformation is by investing in early voter outreach. At Voto Latino, we're experts at engaging Latino voters — but there are hundreds of thousands of voters we need to reach, and we rely on grassroots supporters like you to power our work.
