We have good news and bad news, John –
The good news is that Democrats in Congress have introduced The Freedom to Vote Act, which Attorney General Eric Holder called “an absolutely necessary piece of legislation to safeguard our democracy.”
But the bad news is that MAGA extremists have introduced competing legislation – and if their plan passed, it would undermine our elections across the country.
John, MAGA extremists are engaging in an unprecedented effort to undermine free and fair elections. But by standing up to extremists by taking critical pro-democracy steps like passing the Freedom to Vote Act, our country can live up to the American ideal of a government by the people, for the people.
