We have good news, folks.

Senator Warner’s bill – the SCERT Act – which he sponsored to make sure that Supreme Court justices are held to a clear set of ethical standards, has made it through the Judiciary Committee and is now one step closer to becoming law.

This is huge. After a summer chock-full of disturbing reports of our justices’ undisclosed rendezvous with millionaire right-wing donors with business before the Court, it’s fair to say ethics reform is overdue.

That’s why we’re writing to you today.

If you’re tired of seeing Supreme Court justices blatantly disregard the American people and never be held accountable for their unethical behavior, sign our petition right now to call on Congress to pass Mark’s SCERT Act >>> [link removed]
The Supreme Court should be serving the American people, not whichever conservative donors take them on the fanciest vacations.

But with no sort of ethics code at the Court whatsoever, it’s no surprise our justices are handing down decisions that reflect the will of the right-wing billionaires who spend the most money on them.

Mark’s bill will change all that and finally give the American people what they deserve: Accountability and transparency from the most powerful court in our country.

Add your name today to tell Congress you’re ready for an ethics overhaul at the Supreme Court. [link removed]

Thank you,

Mark Warner
