Congress is out of session during the month of August. I’m using that time to hear from supporters about the issues they care about and what I should be focusing on when I return to Washington, D.C.

As Chairman of the Congressional Cartel Task Force, I’m developing solutions to combat the Mexican drug cartels that are trafficking deadly fentanyl into our communities and killing Americans. I’ve developed legislation to:

Authorize the use of military force against the Mexican drug cartels
Increase criminal penalties against anyone who aids and abets cartel activity
Impose sanctions on foreign officials who facilitate cartel operations

This work has received a lot of attention, including from the President of Mexico, who promised to campaign against me in my upcoming election.

As a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, I’m fighting back against Joe Biden’s attacks on the American oil and gas industry. I’m working hard to:

Prevent Biden’s radical EPA from obstructing American energy projects
Ensure American refineries are able to continue producing gasoline without their operations being shut down by the Biden Administration
Debunk the lies from radical environmentalists who want to destroy American energy independence

And I’m also working to protect our kids from the dangerous transgender ideology that pushes sex change surgery for children. I’ve introduced legislation to stop your taxpayer dollars from funding programs at children’s hospitals that encourage and even facilitate so-called “gender affirming care” for children.

I need your input on what issues should be prioritized when I return to Washington, D.C. in just a few short weeks. There are so many problems to tackle under the failed leadership of Joe Biden, but with your help I can ensure I’m focusing on the issues important to you to get America back on track.
