Fall is just over the horizon, and if you haven't gotten your big game permits yet, there are sill some options available.
Following the completion of the draw, there are general permits still available for purchase. They include a number of Pine Ridge Mule Deer Conservation Area permits that are available to residents. There are also several landowner elk and landowner antelope permits available to eligible landowners.
The purchase period begins Monday, Aug. 7?at 1 p.m. Central time.?Buy?online, at a?Game and Parks office?or via mail.
Please note that all antelope resident and nonresident archery permits have sold out. And, as a reminder, nonresident deer hunters were limited to 10,000 total either-sex and buck-only permits?(youth and landowners are not included in the quota total); for more information on this change,?visit our website.
The remaining purchase periods are:
- Aug. 8 ? Residents, nonresidents and eligible landowners may buy any remaining draw unit antelope permits.
- Aug. 9 ? Residents and eligible landowners may buy any remaining draw unit elk permits.
