NEW YORK, NY – On Tuesday, August 8th starting at 12:00 p.m., Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) will host a federal grants workshop at Columbia University, Hammer Building, HSC 301, 701 West 168th Street, New York, NY, 10032.

During this informative discussion, Rep. Espaillat will present an overview of the federal grant application process and will be joined by special guest, David M. Johnson, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health - Regional Health Operations at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), who will provide key resources to help eligible grantseekers find information on federal grants, loans, and nonfinancial assistance for projects, as well as provide guidance on private funding.

Representative Espaillat is the first Dominican American to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives and his congressional district includes Harlem, East Harlem, West Harlem, Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, Inwood, Marble Hill and the north-west Bronx. First elected to Congress in 2016, Representative Espaillat is serving his fourth term in Congress.
