During the appropriations process, Ted fought to secure $1,000,000 in federal funding for Ready to Succeed, a program empowering foster youth and first-generation college students to graduate college and launch successful careers.



Today, we're reaching out to let you know that, thanks to this funding, Ready to Succeed is providing a $5,000 scholarship to each of the 50 foster youth participating in this year's program! This scholarship will cover basic expenses and help these students start school off on the right foot.



Ted was proud to announce the scholarship and meet recipients at the launch of this year's program, Camp Ready.
