Friend,

Think about this for a second. The January 6th hearings were the only time in recent memory that wall-to-wall Trump coverage actually helped our democracy. Sure, they were ratings gold. But more to the point – tens of millions of Americans were exposed to what really happened on that day, and just how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Why was it so helpful for our democracy? The numbers don't lie. A tangible chunk of Americans – many of them along the Bannon Line – moved off of MAGA. And coupled with the Dominion lawsuits, almost 20% of Fox viewers reported that they had lost trust in the network. When we shove the absolute cravenness of it all down their throats, millions of Americans start to come around to the fact that maybe, just maybe, Trump's not so great for our democracy.

Now he's on trial again for conspiring to overthrow the election results. So – why not televise the trial? For real.

Think about it. The networks get their breathless ratings. And they actually provide a service to the American people - as opposed to 24/7 footage of the big orange idiot's plane.

We throw these kinds of ideas around all the time on our daily strategy calls. We thought this one was pretty good. What do you think? Do you agree? Should we make this the greatest televised spectacle in American political history? And if so – how should it happen?

We want to hear from you on this one, folks. Funniest idea wins.
