This weekend is the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, a monumental piece of legislation that sought to end discriminatory voter suppression tactics.

The VRA was a major step forward for American democracy, but right-wing politicians are trying to take us back a century with partisan gerrymandering and voter suppression.

Sign on now to show your support for voting rights and an end to playing partisan games with our democracy. [[link removed]]

Americans are tired of right-wing politicians (and Justices) attempting to silence their voices while undercutting the pillars of democracy for political gain. Constant redistricting and partisan gerrymandering cannot be the future we accept for North Carolina.

The right to vote is a cornerstone of our democracy. It’s imperative that we work to strengthen voting rights – not make it more difficult for North Carolinians to cast a ballot.

I’m committed to protecting and expanding voting rights, restoring integrity in government, and putting the needs of the American people ahead of the priorities of powerful special interests.
