Pink House Fire and Recovery
Dear Friends,
It has been a month since a fire broke out in the basement of Identity’s iconic “Pink House.” Quick action saved the building. Most importantly, we are so thankful that no one was hurt and all programs are continuing without interruption.
Still, we suffered some structural damage and the contents of the building - which houses our finance, human resources, information technology, evaluation, data management, development and communications functions - were either damaged or destroyed. All of our recreation program equipment was destroyed.
People have asked how they can help. Now we have an answer! We have created a simple fire recovery gift registry through Amazon.
