A body was found in the Rio Grande floating barrier.

Mexican authorities are working to identify a body found trapped in the floating barriers installed by Gov. Abbott in the Rio Grande River. Mexican officials also reported a second unidentified body found in the river, about 3 miles from the barrier. The DOJ is suing the state of Texas over the barriers.

No Labels has tapped former Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon as its new Ballot Integrity Project Director.

Nixon joins No Labels in its effort to make the ballot in all 50 states. Per No Labels:

"We, the people, have a constitutional right not only to cast a vote for whomever we choose. We also have the right to decide which candidates and parties appear on a ballot in the first place."

Disney fights NY bill that would cut tax breaks for replacing humans with AI

NBCUniversal and the Walt Disney Company are paying lobbyists to keep an eye on new legislation that would stop them from getting a tax break on AI used to replace actors. Soon after the New York bill, S.B. 7422, was introduced in June, lobbyists started monitoring its movement.

The bill reauthorizes the Federal Aviation Administration through fiscal year 2028. It authorizes funding for activities and programs related to airport planning and development, facilities, equipment, and operations.
