LGBTQ+ Stories You Should Know About
100 Days ‘til Election Day!
It’s official! We’re less than 100 days from Election Day 2023. Spotlight candidates Rozia Henson [[link removed]] , Josh Cole [[link removed]] and Adele McClure [[link removed]] , all running for the Virginia House of Delegates , all marked the occasion and urged their voters to get ready to head to the polls.
Spotlight candidate Danica Roem , running for the state Senate, celebrated the best way she knows how: by knocking doors and meeting with voters [[link removed]] . She also earned an endorsement from Virginia’s League of Conservation Voters [[link removed]] !
Results Pending in Washington and Tennessee
This week, voters in Washington and Tennessee hit the polls – and cast their ballots for LGBTQ+ candidates! While we’re not quite ready to release results from either state, we’re confident that we’ll have good news to share next week. Stay tuned for wins!

Mississippi: Ready for LGBTQ+ History!
Next Tuesday, voters in Mississippi will head to the polls, where they may have the chance to cast their ballots for two historic LGBTQ+ candidates: Spotlight candidate Fabian Nelson [[link removed]?] and Justin Lofton [[link removed]] !
Mississippi is one of the last states that has never elected an out LGBTQ+ state legislator [[link removed]] – in fact, there are no out LGBTQ+ elected officials are serving in the state at any level [[link removed]] . But once Fabian and Justin win their primaries, we’ll be one step closer to changing that.

“Our Best Days Are Ahead.”
Victory Fund endorsed candidate for the U.S. Congress, Sarah McBride , recently sat down with LGBTQ Nation to speak about her campaign, her historic monikers and her vision for America. Spoiler alert:

Another One Bites the Dust
Good news for U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin’s reelection campaign: another potential opponent has bowed out of the running [[link removed]] .
