As a former prosecutor, I’m astonished at what is happening right now at our Supreme Court. 

While they are rolling back our rights to abortion, denying race-based affirmative action, and opening the door to discrimination against the LGBTQ community, we’ve learned that many of them have been living lavish lifestyles off the backs of big GOP donors. 

I thought it was bad when Justice Clarence Thomas accepted gifts from billionaire Harlan Crow, then we learned Justice Alito accepted gifts from major conservative donors as well. 

That’s why I recently sent a letter to Chief Justice John Roberts calling for an ethics investigation. I made it clear that the court’s failure to address these issues will continue to undermine the public’s trust and confidence in the Court itself.
