Friend, last night’s debate only helped one person — Donald Trump.

Instead of focusing on how we can improve the lives of Americans and build a diverse coalition to beat Mr. Trump, there was a lot of bickering over policy discrepancies that won’t matter if we don’t win in November. We're not going to beat the criminal in the White House by running the same conventional playbook and ignoring the upcoming fight.

Through successfully building a billion-dollar business and then stepping away to focus on fighting corporate corruption in our communities, I know how to build the diverse coalition we need, and I know how to beat Mr. Trump on the economy. And that’s what we need to do to win.

Here’s the plan: You and I both know that this race is still wide open. We still have a lot of other voters and states to hear from, but we only have a short time left to show the rest of the country that our vision for America is the winning one — this is our chance. This is the time to make sure you’re ready to vote, that your friends and family are ready, too. [link removed]
