On July 27, America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) hosted their third annual White Coat Summit at the Conservative Partnership Center. This coalition of doctors is speaking out against the government’s widespread censorship and medical disinformation around COVID vaccines. The event included remarks by Dr. Robert Malone, the scientist who discovered that mRNA could be used in vaccines, but now warns of the adverse effects of the COVID vaccine.

This summer, CPI’s Conservative Young Leaders Program joined forces with American Moment, The Heritage Foundation, and other D.C. conservative groups to give young people an unforgettable learning experience. They participated in American Moment’s “AMFridays” on Capitol Hill where they had policy discussions on core issues facing our country and heard from expert speakers including The Heritage Foundation’s Dr. Kevin Roberts, Center for Renewing America’s Russ Vought, and America First Legal’s Stephen Miller.

On July 25, FreedomWorks debuted a documentary titled, “The People’s House,” telling the story behind the triumphant fight to gain historic rules and process changes during the confirmation of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy in January. In the film, CPI Senior Partner Mark Meadows highlighted the 20 members of Congress who refused to waver on creating a more open, fair process in the House, and the struggle they faced to do the right thing.

Known for leading the fight in the Reagan and Trump administrations against the failed policies of one-sided free trade, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer taught the Conservative Partnership Academy’s fourth economics course on July 24. Lighthizer discussed his new book, “No Trade is Free: Changing Course, Taking on China, and Helping America’s Workers,” which outlines the policies that have weakened America and how to correct her course.

On July 17, CPI hosted an event for over 50 members of Christians Engaged, a nonprofit organization that exists to awaken, motivate, educate, and empower ordinary believers in Jesus Christ to pray, vote, and engage in civic education for our nation. Reps. Mike Johnson, Jodey Arrington, Chip Roy, and Eli Crane gave remarks on how their faith in Christ guides and impacts their work in Washington.

Members of CPI’s Government Relations team traveled to Columbus, Ohio to attend the Forge Leadership Summit, a five-day conference for young professionals who want to pursue careers in politics, culture, and business. CPI talked to intern prospects, conservative leaders, and allied groups in the movement who were interested in learning more about CPI’s work in D.C.
