Hi,

The LGBTQ community is made up of a diverse variety of identities and lived experiences. We all may be different but are united as one community... and if one of us is attacked, we all fight back.

Right now, the rights of the most vulnerable among us are at risk. LGBTQ youth are being attacked in state legislatures around the country and they need our help.

Here’s what’s going on:

  • In at least 20 states, horrific anti-trans legislation is pending. 12 states are considering bills that would deny transgender youth from receiving best practice, life-saving gender-affirming medical care — sending a terrible message to our youth and putting their health at risk. Some of these bills would also criminalize doctors who provide trans youth with such care. We’ve got to stop this!
  • In at least 14 states, conservatives are trying to push through bills to restrict transgender athletes from being able to play sports with their peers — requiring them instead to participate on the team based on their gender listed on their birth certificate and subjecting them to invasive, unscientific, and humiliating testing. These attacks are cruel, the rationale misguided and strips trans youth of their dignity.

The health and safety of our youth are on the line, today. Will you rise up with the Human Rights Campaign to protect LGBTQ young people?

Friend, it is truly sickening that these adults are using their power to attack kids. It’s not just LGBTQ adults, now it’s our kids. That is why it is vital that HRC members and supporters nationwide, including you, raise your voice now on their behalf.

Show LGBTQ youth you are willing to fight for their rights. The more signatures we get, the more pressure we can put on elected officials to reject these hateful bills.

Thank you for lending your voice to defend the rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community.
