Wolfs Crossing update & open house

Wolfs Crossing Harvey Update August 3, 2023

The Village will host an open house [ [link removed] ] on the Wolfs Crossing and Harvey construction project on Wednesday, August 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. Oswego Village President Ryan Kauffman, board members and Village staff will be available to provide an update and answer questions. The open house will take place near the intersection of Devoe Drive and Chapin Way in the Prescott Mill subdivision.

The intersection of Wolfs Crossing [ [link removed] ] at Devoe Drive is scheduled to reopen to traffic by August 12. Wolfs Crossing west of Devoe Drive will remain closed until the Wolfs Crossing and Harvey section is reopened to traffic.

The round-about construction at Harvey Road is scheduled for completion by the end of 2023. The project schedule has been modified while the contractor waits for ComEd to relocate power lines. The Village is working closely with the contractor to keep the project on schedule. The Village will continue to keep residents informed on the project through this newsletter and the Village?s website. Additional FAQs [ [link removed] ] are available online as well.

Kendall County closing Collins and Grove

Beginning August 7, the Kendall County Highway Department will close the intersection of Collins and Grove roads [ [link removed] ] to all through traffic as construction begins on a new roundabout in this location.?

Access to sections of Deerpath Creek and Old Reserve subdivisions will be restricted by the closure. View the detour map. [ [link removed] ]

Wine Off the Fox returns Labor Day weekend

Breast cancer survivors at Wine Off Fox 2022

Wine Off the Fox [ [link removed] ] returns to Venue 1012 on September 1 and 2. Wine tasting and live performances from all-female bands will be featured and a portion of each ticket benefits local organizations that provide breast cancer services and?support.

Select and sip from more than 20 varieties of wine including blush, white and red; seasonal craft beer from Oswego Brewing Company; and non-alcoholic beverage options. Bring your own picnic and relax while you listen to the hottest hits of the ?60s, ?70s, ?80s and today from The PriSSillas (September 1) and Serendipity with the Jersey Girls (September 2).
