Friend,

Yesterday, justice was served. The U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that poll taxes are illegal.

This is a huge victory for the 65 percent of Florida voters who supported Amendment 4 to restore the right to vote to more than a million people. Not to mention, this ruling is justice for the countless Floridians who can't afford to pay to cast their ballot.

Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida GOP should know better than to think poll taxes would slide in 2020. But they still tried it anyway.

Listen, this won't be the last attempt to suppress the vote in Florida before November. We need to be ready to fight back and keep building power in our communities. Can you rush support to The Collective today to help elect Black leaders up and down the ballot this November?

We need to show Gov. DeSantis and Florida Republicans we aren't going down without a fight. We refuse to be silenced. In November, we will vote and WIN.

So let's get to work flipping Florida blue. If you're with me, chip in to The Collective today.
