The world watches and takes cues from America’s leaders on both sides of the aisle, but no one pays more attention than our enemies.
As U.S. Ambassador to the UN, I witnessed the scrutiny around the health of world leaders. I watched nations search for any signs of weakness to gain an advantage over their enemies.
It is no secret to anyone watching that Washington is in dire need of a shake up. Americans deserve to know their leaders are up to the task at hand, which is why I have advocated for mandatory mental competency tests for federal office holders above the age of 75 since day one of my campaign.
This proposal, along with my call for term limits, has put a target on my back. But I don’t care what anyone else thinks. I’m not afraid to shake up the status quo and I’ll gladly sign my name to support these measures for better and more competent leaders in power:
