Thank you to everyone who donated, advocated, and spread the word over the last several weeks to support our rapid response campaigns to save the Stokes 7 and Duke 25 cats.

Thanks to 2,040 generous supporters, we hit our fundraising goals, and now, our team is moving full speed ahead and putting your donations to work to save the lives of the 32 kittens slated for these experiments!

Unfortunately, the campaign process can take some time (as the government moves at a glacial pace), but we hope to hear an update in the coming weeks. We will keep you posted.

I also wanted to share more pictures from our recent trip to Wyoming. In case you missed it, a few of us at WCW visited Kindness Ranch — 1,000 acres of rolling hills that serve as a sanctuary for retired lab animals.

We had the privilege of meeting cats, dogs, pigs, horses, sheep, and tons of other animals that have been rescued from taxpayer-funded labs. To look these precious animals in the eye was such a powerful reminder that the work we do at WCW — the work you help fund, Taxpayer — has a real impact on animals.

P.S. Each year, our government and its subsidiaries kill thousands of healthy cats, dogs, monkeys, pigs, and other lab animals after testing, when they could be retired to loving homes instead. Taxpayer, please take a moment to demand Congress passes Violet’s Law, which will make Retirement a Requirement across the entire federal government.
