Yesterday, just two hours after being federally charged for trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election, Trump’s campaign started selling t-shirts to commemorate his latest indictment.
Less than an hour after being indicted on 7 federal charges in June for keeping and hiding classified documents, Trump sent out a fundraising email that raised $5.8 million.
He did the same thing in March after being indicted for sexual abuse. Trump’s base donated $4 million in less than 24 hours. That is a lot of money to spread hate.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy released a statement defending Trump and promising that ‘House Republicans will hold this brazen weaponization of power accountable.’ Republican leaders have made it clear — they are going to do whatever is necessary to protect Donald Trump.
On the Oversight Committee, where Alexandria holds the #2 spot for Democrats, Republicans are starting completely baseless investigations into President Biden. Their goal is to dirty the waters and create a false sense of equivalency between him and President Trump. We can’t let that happen.
From all of us here on the campaign, we thank you for your support.
