The former President has been indicted for inciting a violent insurrection that almost took down our democracy after attempting to undermine the results of a fair and free election decided by the people.
The same bullshit outrage by Republicans and right-wing media goons Summer called out in April is happening today.
Marginalized people, especially people of color, are used to being prosecuted even when they have done nothing wrong. Our criminal justice system has always been stacked against these people in favor of the rich and powerful.
So these people who are mad are not used to seeing people like Trump face our justice system. The fact of the matter: Trump is a criminal and is about to face his crimes in a court of law.
While Republicans feign outrage over a justice system they have weaponized against Black, brown, and poor folks for centuries — Summer is on the front line in Congress calling out their shameless hypocrisy.
