This isn't the news I wanted to share, but it's important to me that you stay in the loop: we did not reach our July fundraising goal.

I know our team and our many supporters gave it their all, but when we set ambitious goals, there’s always the chance that we come up short.

I’m determined in August to double our efforts to hit our next goal. Can I count on you to chip in $5 today to ensure we pass our next fundraising goal with flying colors?

We simply cannot afford to show Republicans any signs of weakness. They’re working overtime to flip this seat and hold onto their thin House majority.
