With fall quickly upon us, I can’t help but look forward to the holidays in the next few months. Traditions are what make the holidays special. They’re filled with wonderful memories from childhood to the present, deepening our thankfulness and joy!

I’d like to introduce you to a magnificent holiday tradition that will transform you and your loved ones for years to come… it’s called Holiday Connections.

Holiday Connections gives you the opportunity to "adopt" one of the families in Human Coalition's Continuum of Care program and meet their needs during the holiday season. By participating, you can provide families with Christmas gifts and allow their families to take part in the joys of Christmas.

You’ll make the holidays extra special for moms like Selinda. It was a huge decision for Selinda to choose to keep her baby. Financially, she was not in a position to afford a child, not to mention the medical costs that come with having a baby. Yet, she did. And when she started participating in the Continuum of Care program, she chose to be a part of Holiday Connections too.

Selinda told us last year, “The couple I was paired with [for Holiday Connections] went above and beyond. We would not have had a Christmas without them. They have no idea how much they impacted my family and me during some really hard times.”

That’s why I’m inviting you to personally touch the lives of new moms and their babies, or those who recently chose life for their preborn child, this coming holiday season.

I love the holidays because of the traditions with family, food, and fellowship. Unfortunately, many of the women who connect with Human Coalition don’t have a supportive family, much food, and few friends to celebrate with. Instead, it’s often a lonely, stressful time while they watch the world from the outside looking in at the most “wonderful” time of the year.

So far, there are over 100 families in the Continuum of Care program who have expressed interest in Holiday Connections this year. Each of these families was once in a state of crisis and seeking an abortion – but have chosen life for their children instead. Some of the moms are still pregnant and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their precious baby!

While many supporters have already volunteered, I still need more volunteers like you to be the hands and feet of Christ and “adopt” a family today. This is the only way to ensure all these families are provided the holiday season they deserve.
