Virginia Democrats just passed legislation to expand access to voting!
We should make it easier to vote, not harder. That's why I was proud to campaign and fundraise for delegates in our new state legislature's Democratic majority who are dedicated to strengthening voting rights.
Thanks to Virginia Democrats -- Election Day will become a state holiday, service members will have extended time to send in their ballots, restrictions for absentee voting will be removed, 17 year olds will be automatically registered to vote, and we'll have same day voter registration!
The right to vote is fundamental to our democracy. Will you add your name to thank these leaders for protecting our right to vote?

Virginia Republicans passed some of the highest barriers to voting in the country like strict absentee voting requirements and a voter ID law.
These laws suppressed thousands of low-income residents, voters with disabilities, young voters, and voters in communities of color -- because they were likely Democratic voters.
But Virginia Democrats are repealing these restrictive laws and working to make voting more accessible. Add your name to thank them for their leadership and share which reform you think is most crucial to expanding voting rights >>
