Hi friend!
My name is Lisa, and I spent the past year organizing in my community as an EnviroVoters Ed Fund Ambassador.
Growing up, like many other people in my hometown of Corona and throughout the Inland Empire, I had accepted dismal air quality as a fact of life. I’ve always had chronic nosebleeds, and it took me years to realize that the warehouses, trucks, and freight that surround by neighborhood were the main culprits.
The Ambassador program provided me as well as the nine other young leaders in my cohort the chance to take matters into our own hands — by giving us the tools to build power in our community and mobilize our neighbors to take action for clean air and water equity.
I learned so much from my time as an Ambassador, and I know that this program is the best way to cultivate the future leadership of our movement towards climate justice.
Friend, could you pitch in a few dollars to make sure more young people have the chance to become Ambassadors and take on critical grassroots organizing work?

By putting local young advocates at the forefront of advocating for these issues, the program directly tackles the severe inequities surrounding water equity and clean air in the Central Valley and Inland Empire head on.
As the program takes in even more up-and-coming young leaders, these future Ambassadors will need your support to reach their bigger and more ambitious goals.
And this program has meant so much to me and my fellow Ambassadors. We’ve gained a wide range of tangible organizing skills — from building interpersonal relationships to public speaking — and plan to use these as we continue our work in this movement.
Friend, I am asking you to invest in the future leaders of the climate justice movement. Are you with us?
Supporting rising young leaders is the best investment we can make to ensure our movement remains strong far into the future — our future work is a part of your legacy!
Thank you for your support.

California Environmental Voters Education Fund (EnviroVoters Ed Fund), formerly California League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, believes the climate crisis is here and this moment requires transformative change. EnviroVoters Ed Fund fights for equity and justice for all Californians, from voting rights to clean air and water. We work together to make government, policy, and voting accessible by conducting public opinion research, shaping the public narrative, organizing with allies and local communities, and educating legislators on pressing environmental issues. We won’t stop until we have resilient, healthy, thriving communities, and a democracy and economy that is just and sustainable for all.
