Justice Daniel Kelly, candidate for WI Supreme Court, 
for taking the most votes in the primary
and securing a place on the Spring General Election Ballot

THIS week on Tuesday, February 18, voters across The Badger State went to the polls to cast their vote for the only statewide race on their Wisconsin Spring Primary Election ballots. Thank you to all who exercised their civic duty! Because of you, incumbent Justice Daniel Kelly was the top vote-getter and will be facing off against Jill Karofsky in the April 7 Spring General Election.  Wisconsin Family Action PAC endorsed Justice Kelly. State Senator Tom Tiffany, also endorsed by WFA PAC, was likewise victorious in his campaign for US House, 7th District. Read our congratulatory press release HERE.

Right now is the time to highlight April 7, the Spring General Election, on your calendar and start talking to friends, neighbors and others in your sphere of influence about this crucial 10-year seat on the Supreme Court. Medical Journal Says State Should Override Parents

"A group of doctors and surgeons authored an article in a prominent medical journal advising practitioners of transgender medicalization on how to override parents who disagree with their children who self-identify as transgender.

"The article, 'Medically Assisted Gender Affirmation: When Children and Parents Disagree' was published in the Journal of Medical Ethics of the British Medical Journal and authored by Dr. Samuel Dubin, a plastic surgeon from the University of Michigan, along with several colleagues.

"First published on Dec 31, the article discusses the subject of parent-child discord and gives priority to 'the developing autonomy of transgender youth in the decision-making process' as it relates to medicalized gender-transition.

"Parents who object to transgender medical experimentation when their children seek to transition are portrayed as guilty of neglect."

Julaine Appling, WFA president, says, "Fortunately some states are taking exactly the opposite approach. States such as South Dakota are considering laws that would ban doctors from prescribing puberty blockers and from performing transgender surgeries on minors. How sad it is that any of this is necessary, but those pushing this dangerous agenda are aggressive and determined to convince kids that God made a mistake in how He designed them."

Parents Take a Stand Against MMSD 

This week, fourteen plaintiffs, represented by attorneys at Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, filed a lawsuit against the Madison Metropolitan School District. The lawsuit, filed in Dane County, seeks to vindicate parents’ fundamental and constitutional right to direct the upbringing of their children. The School District has violated this important right by adopting a policy designed to keep parents in the dark regarding a pivotal decision affecting their children’s health and future, in this situation as it relates to so-called gender identity. Such a policy violates the plaintiffs’ rights as parents.

We suspect other Wisconsin school districts have similar internal policies that just haven’t come to light yet. Parents, please be aware that you have rights protected by law when it comes to what you are to be informed about regarding your kids. Be proactive; find out what both the explicit and implicit policies are in this area in the school districts your kids attend.

In His infinite wisdom, God gave humankind the ability to enter into a unique relationship that is good for people and when done right glorifies the Lord.
