John,
This headline just came out from HuffPost:
Over the last few years, with minimal resources compared to the Democratic establishment, we have punched far above our weight and made an impact by recruiting and electing an entire bloc of working-class leaders to Congress. But we’re at a crossroads for our movement.
In the article, a progressive senior House aide said:
“Without a threat of a primary and a weakening of Justice Democrats, we go back to corporate interests and a lack of accountability from the progressive movement,”
We cannot go back. Despite an unprecedented slowdown in our fundraising over the last year and needing to lay off some of our incredible members of staff as a result, we are not giving up or letting the corporate establishment win.
We are doubling down on candidate recruitment, reviewing every viable district on the map. We are building coalitions to ensure that our incumbents can defend themselves against the multimillion-dollar threat of AIPAC and right-wing donors. We are not stopping this crucial work — even for a moment.
But we need your help to overcome this difficult time, John.
Thank you so much for being a part of our movement to challenge the entire political establishment and elect more progressive changemakers.

Thank you so much for your support, firstname. Together we will continue to fight for the soul of the Democratic Party.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
