Throughout that journey, they can expect to encounter violence at the hands of the cartels, gangs, and local law enforcement.

From Friday, September 15th through Sunday, October 1st, we're not asking for a thousand miles. We're asking you to #BeAWaymaker for these children, and their families, and join us in one or three miles (5K) in solidarity with those who walk for their dreams of a life of safety, dignity, and respect .
Choose any day, pick your distance and favorite route, form a team, set a fundraising goal, and run or walk together in solidarity with Young Center Waymakers across the U.S to support unaccompanied immigrant children’s rights. Register by August 14th and save $5 off your registration.
