The Pittsburgh synagogue gunman faces the death penalty.
In 2018, a gunman killed 11 people at a synagogue in Pittsburgh. Today, the jury decided a death sentence should be imposed on the gunman for his crimes. The jury found 50-year-old Robert Boweres guilty on 63 charges in June, including dozens of hate crimes and civil rights offenses for the crimes he committed at Tree of Life synagogue five years ago.
