FALMOUTH - As part of the ongoing work to replace the bridge that carries Bucknam Road over I-295 in Falmouth, the Maine Department of Transportation will be performing three short closures of I-295 Southbound at Mile Marker 12 tonight, August 3. Each closure will last no longer than 25 minutes. The first closure is scheduled for 10 p.m. tonight. These closures are required to accommodate removal of the overhead message sign and associated truss. Maine State Police will assist MaineDOT. The department will also be using message boards to alert drivers of the closures.
