Look, right now, North Carolina ranks LAST in public K-12 funding as a share of the state’s GDP. That's unacceptable and a disgrace.

Our kids need all the support we can give them to succeed.

That’s why we cannot allow legislative Republicans to take away public dollars from our school kids and teachers, only to give them to rich parents sending their kids to unaccountable private schools.

A strong public education system that prepares our children for the future is critical to North Carolina’s success. Republicans are putting that success in jeopardy.
