One thing was made very clear this week, Team: Justice, democracy, and the will of voters will prevail.
First , the extremists and baseless recall challenges against Michigan Democrats failed when the Board of State Canvassers rejected every recall petition against Michigan Democrats.
Then , former president Donald Trump was indicted for his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election, including charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States and conspiracy to violate the right to vote.
It’s clear that democracy is winning and justice will be served. But let me make one more thing clear — this fight is far from over. These extremists won't stop trying to undermine free and fair elections in Michigan, which is why we need to fight back.
Our democracy has never been more at risk and our work to stand up and protect free and fair elections is more critical than ever before. MAGA extremists have made it clear they think they are above the law and they will make every attempt to undermine voters in 2024.
