John,
Did you know Starbucks workers like me have organized unions in over 335
Starbucks stores in less than two years? This historic unionization wave
has been fueled by a call for Starbucks to uphold the progressive values
it claims to stand for by respecting our right to organize.
Starbucks’ response? Union busting, plain and simple. In fact, Starbucks
has broken federal labor laws 200 times – making them one of the most
egregious union busters in modern history.
That’s why we’re fighting back – and we need your help. [ [link removed] ]Can you join us
on August 7 to demand Starbucks respects workers’ rights to organize?

Despite the power that we’ve built, and our eagerness to engage with the
company, Starbucks continues to use whatever tactics they can think of to
get in the way of our efforts to make improvements in our workplace. So,
Starbucks customers and allies are organizing hundreds of events across
the country to hold Starbucks accountable, and demand they live up to the
values they built their business on.
[ [link removed] ]Turn out on August 7 to stand in solidarity with Starbucks workers like
me and demand that Starbucks quits union busting and respects workers’
right to organize.
Now, more than ever, we need customers and allies alike to stand with
Starbucks workers and make it clear that you’re not buying its empty
claims to be a good company – and that we won’t let up until it quits
union busting and starts respecting workers' rights. [ [link removed] ]Sign up to stand
with us on August 7.
See you there,
Jasmine Leli
