It’s only February, but this year the MRC has already reached record levels of success on our social media platforms thanks to your grassroots action!

There are two numbers in particular that we wanted to share with you right away. The first is our video views. Videos created across the MRC are being viewed at an astounding rate, with an average of 6,339,125 views per week so far in 2020. 

That’s right, our videos are being watched over 6 million times a week. That’s 6 million times your friends, family, and acquaintances saw MRC videos of the media being exposed for calling left-wing loons “moderates”, Mike Bloomberg trashing farmers, and real coverage of peaceful protesters in Virginia standing up for their Second Amendment rights.

But that’s not all! People are constantly interacting with all of the great content you see from NewsBusters, MRCTV, and CNSNews. All of the numbers for likes, shares, and comments on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook can be wrapped up under one term - engagement rate. MRC’s average weekly engagement rate is over 27% in 2020 so far, some days creeping up to over 33% engagement a day.

Really any engagement rate over 3% means you’re doing something right. That’s why we’re so proud to share that our impact is 10 times that of other groups. 

That’s how you know we’re making a difference. Producing the content is just the start, but having 6.3 million views a week and a 33% engagement rate truly shows the daily impact of the MRC. And we couldn’t do it without you!
