Ready for your heart to melt? This year, the kids at Lincoln

kids who enjoy it every school day. And thanks to your generosity,
more kids are getting the breakfast the need.

These valentines aren't just to breakfast-they're
also to you. We hope this video brightens your day!

Fun and Food in the Sun

Earlier this month, No Kid Hungry Florida co-sponsored Florida
Children's Week. Now in its 25th year, the annual celebration to
draw attention to the issues that impact Florida's children
through a week of fun, food and events.

No Kid Hungry Florida teamed up with Farm Share to highlight a Grab
and Go breakfast that fueled the day's activities for all
attendees. Read more about Children's Week here on our blog and
check out this adorable photo of our team's photo booth table,
where participants grabbed fun props to pose for photos with their

Chronic Absenteeism is down, thanks to caring people like you!

A study commissioned by No Kid Hungry found that Breakfast After the
Bell programs reduce kids' chronic absenteeism on average by 6
percentage points.

Karen Wong, No Kid Hungry's Senior Manager of Research and Evaluation,
said, "We already know that serving breakfast as a seamless part
of the school day helps ensure all children get the morning nutrition
they need and is a positive experience for parents, students and
schools alike. But this study provides additional evidence that it is
intertwined with student success."

Get more information here on the study and its findings.
