Dear Friend,
Throughout this summer, we have seen and felt the effects of fossil fuels: wheezing from the wildfire smoke, houses destroyed in sweeping hurricanes, carbon monoxide poisoning from gas stoves that lower our life expectancy, polluted water—and we’ve had enough.
This September, thousands are taking to the streets to fight for a future free of fossil fuels and demand a just and clean energy future for all. Join us on September 17th to call on President Biden to phase out fossil fuels at the March to End Fossil Fuels, the biggest climate mobilization in the country since before the pandemic.
During his campaign, Biden vowed to be a climate president — but he's expanded oil and gas drilling, production, and export since taking office. But it's not too late for him to make good on his promises. With a just over a year left in Biden's first term, we have to act now and come out in full force to demand an end to fossil fuels for a livable future.
See you there,
Alice, Alicé, Denise, José, Lucas, Pete, and Wally

P.S. We're organizing hard to bring as many people as possible to the march and to take action during the UN Climate Ambition Summit that week. We know direct action is how we move the needle on the climate crisis — will you help support our organizing efforts by donating $10 or $15 today?
