Like you, we’ve been watching the breaking news surrounding Trump’s indictment. We can’t downplay the historic nature of this event, and we definitely can’t normalize the fact that the leading GOP candidate led an attempt to overturn the 2020 election.

But we also need to recognize that Trump will be the GOP nominee for President. His legal trouble won’t keep him off the ballot. So while we celebrate any attempt to hold Trump legally accountable for inciting an insurrection on our Capitol, we also can’t become complacent.

There’s only one pathway to stopping Trump: Defeating him and his insurrectionist enablers at the ballot box.

We’re fighting today and every day to keep Trump and his MAGA acolytes out of power. We know they’re lawless. But the only way to truly hold them accountable is to defeat them where it counts. [[link removed]]
