YES OR NO: Donald Trump should have to stand trial this fall before the 2024 primaries

Yesterday, Donald Trump was indicted by a federal grand jury on criminal charges that he tried to overturn the 2020 election results in the lead up to the violent, deadly January 6 attack on the US Capitol.

Since yesterday, Trump’s lackies have been pushing the idea that he shouldn’t have to face charges until after the 2024 election—if at all.

Trump cannot be allowed to hide behind his sycophantic, bigoted campaign to evade the justice system. It’s time for him to face the music.
